The Fairmile School

Since the school's founding in 1987, Fern has served as the Director  of Fairmile. Educated both at the Autism Treatment Center of America and the University of Colorado at Denver, Fern has utilized her education to contribute to the field of special education and Son Rise treatment for decades. In Kenya, she has trained over 200 families and staff on the implementation of Son Rise principles, helping them gain a better understanding of children with Autism, and how they function. Additionally, Fern meets with NGOs, community organizations, public and private donors, as well as the Board of Directors and the Parent-Teacher Association, serving as the control center for the Fairmile School
